ProSect Feed harnesses organic waste streams, insect technology (blacksoldier fly) and IoT to produce affordable but high quality alternative proteins and feed for local poultry, pig and fish farmers with the aim of saving them up to 30% in feed cost. A by-product of the production process also known as frass is used as organic fertilizer by smallholder vegetable farmers. Since our inception in 2020, our larvae meal and organic fertilizer has impacted 1,200 farmers of which 60% are females.
